Luxury Motor Yacht – Northern Lights
The M/Y Northern LIghts is a 132’ / 40m luxury motor yacht which was built by Westship and launched in 2000. Northern Lights has a composite semi-displacement hull with a cruising speed of 16 knots and the yacht can sleep up to 10 charter guests in 5 cabins.
Northern Lights carries a good selection of water toys including a 2008, 22-foot wide-body Nautica tender – with the removable side door and twin 150 hp Yamaha engines. She also has a 2007 Seadoo GTX Limited Jet ski with GPS, depth sounder and ski package. The yacht’s new dive locker boasts equipment for underwater explorations.
The motor yacht’s interior design can be described as a sensuous and cosmopolitan style. There has been 2008 upgrades to soft furnishings, both interior and exterior. Lavishly decorated, her interior is sleek yet warm, refined yet sexy. The yacht’s atmosphere is one of serene sophistication, with lush upholsteries in white, black, and gold. There are luminous and vibrant glass sculptures, stainless steel, and gold plate. The gracefully curving lines of the furniture and other details echo the flow of waves, while original paintings celebrate feminine beauty.
Yacht Accommodations
Northern Lights is a tri-deck motor yacht and offers numerous spaces to enjoy the pampered experience of being aboard. Large double doors open to the aft deck which is perfect for al fresco dining with its semi-circular settee and bar with seating. A spiral staircase leads up from inside the saloon to the large sky lounge. There you will find a full bar with seating, a hidden plasma TV and game table
Main Saloon: includes a marble bar, gracious sitting areas, and broad windows that draw in the beauty of the outdoors.
Dining Area: accommodates 10 guests to savor fine cuisine at a stunning glass table appointed with Baccarat crystal and fine china. Walk-around side decks provide easy access forward and aft.
Master Suite: full-beam, located on the main deck, is a sophisticated oasis, with a king-size bed, a desk to starboard and settee to port, expansive windows for natural light, and a 42-inch plasma TV. The adjoining his and her baths have marble countertops, a full-size shower whose glass wall is etched with a graceful mermaid amid underwater flora, and a granite Jacuzzi tub.
Guest Suites: One deck below, a marble foyer opens to the guest staterooms, all of which have personal state-of-the-art entertainment systems. Two cabins have queen-size beds and adjoining baths with marble vanities, while the third, also ensuite, is appointed with large twin beds. Adjacent is a 5th Guest Stateroom, with TV/VCR/ Denon Music system, ensuite bath with shower. This cabin can be converted into a fully equipped fitness suite with brand new state of the art elliptical and treadmill with an integrated music video system and full bath.
